IPSM is the "IpTables Script Maker",
a simple tool that helps users to create simple but complete firewalls
based on IPtables. It is written in C and uses C standard libraries.
IPSM generates a serie of questions which when answered creates a specific
set of iptables rules. Since IPSM creates a shell script with these
rules, it does not require to be run on Linux; however, a secondary
feature of ipsm, permits a user to change the computer's network policy
"on the go" utilising Linux to execute it. In the future,
ipsm will also be able to translate scripts in "human language"
and modify existing rules.
